ClosureCast is a mobile app that tracks active construction zones in Texas cities. We provide project timelines, weekly status updates, and localized alerts so you can plan your commute around roadwork — not through it.
“Closure” refers to road closures and construction zones, while “Cast” represents broadcasting — delivering that information directly to you. Together, ClosureCast means we’re broadcasting road closure intelligence to keep you informed.
Our construction zone data is sourced from publicly available government records and third-party data providers, including state transportation department feeds. We aggregate, verify, and format this data to make it easy to understand. Please note that ClosureCast is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
ClosureCast currently supports select Texas cities. We’re expanding coverage based on user demand. If your city isn’t available yet, you can submit a city request within the app and we’ll prioritize it based on interest.
Yes! ClosureCast offers a free tier that gives you access to construction zone data for one Texas city. If you need more, our Pro tier lets you track up to three cities with full notification customization, advanced weekly planning, and weekly digest summaries. Pro pricing is available in the app.
No. ClosureCast is an informational tool — not a GPS or turn-by-turn navigation service. We help you plan ahead by showing you what construction is happening in your area, but you should always follow posted road signs and never use the app while driving.
You can delete your account directly within the app by navigating to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your personal data from our active systems. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account. For full details, see our Data Deletion Policy.
We take data security seriously. Your data is stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with encryption, row-level security policies, and regular security audits. We don’t sell or trade your personal information. We don’t collect geolocation, contacts, photos, or financial data through the app. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
